Tuition & Fees
An Investment in the Future
DIS has a comprehensive fee structure covering tuition, course-integrated study tours and field trips, health and liability insurance, housing, host family meals, local transportation from housing to DIS and airport pick up on arrival day. Also included is the free use of textbooks for classes, library and IT services, Arrival Workshop and pre-departure advice and assistance.
The comprehensive Tuition and Housing fees, once announced, are guaranteed not to change - this means prices are fixed and cannot increase, for instance, if the value of the US dollar falls. Some costs fall outside the comprehensive fee structure, such as optional study tours and transport to and from the US. Once you have paid your fees to DIS, you can safely budget your stay in Europe. There are no hidden additional costs! Please refer to the Tuition & Fees listed in this section to see just how much each fee covers.
Study Abroad Scholarships
Study abroad scholarships are available for DIS students. The DIS Board of Directors allocates need-based scholarship funds to enable students to study in Denmark, while other scholarships are available for application. On average, 40% of all students receive a DIS study abroad scholarship or discount. Please see our study abroad scholarship page for more details.
