Help tell the story of your semester in the Build YOUR Video Yearbook Contest!

Challenge #7: Spring in Copenhagen!

Copenhagen is your home! Submit clips of you and your DIS friends:
   • Climbing the spiral tower in Christianshavn
   • Enjoying the sun in places like Nyhavn, Kongens Have, and Gammeltorv
   • Seeing Copenhagen sights for the very first time
   • Exploring Tivoli & Bakken, amongst other parks just opening for the season!

Length of Clip:

10 - 15 seconds per video clip - it’s that easy!

Challenge Deadline:

Monday, April 29, 2013 at 23:00

Prize:

A 50 DKK gift certificate for your five best clips that apply to a mix of the bullets above.

The most creative participant will win a 200 DKK gift card!

After the challenge is complete, come to the Online Marketing Office (Vestergade 5.47) to confirm that your clips were received, via your online submission, and you can collect your gift certificate!

*Limited to five clips per challenge per person

Challenges will be announced on the Facebook group, in student newsletters, on the easel display near the front desk, on this webpage, and other places around the DIS campus.

Quick Rules & Tips

  • Video clips between 10 – 15 seconds in length each
    A maximum of five videos per student per challenge can be submitted - be sure to send us your best!
  • Horizontal clips only! If you film with an iPhone, Android, etc. be sure to turn you smartphone accordingly 
  • Video subjects should include at least one DIS student (the more the merrier)
  • Sound not important unless noted in the contest
  • Ask permission to film in a classroom, childcare facility, medical facility, professional setting with a presenter and etcetera to respect the privacy of others
  • Your video should always capture scenes that show immersion and engagement in Danish/European culture and/or the study abroad experience

MEET OUR YEARBOOK STORYTELLERS

Will and Sam will be taking all of your video goodness from throughout the semester and compiling your video clips with those of others to create the Spring 2013 video yearbook.

So keep the videos coming over the next four months, and Sam and Will be sure to send back one final video that will bring it all together come end of year!
