Meet Denmark's First Female Rabbi

Students at DIS will have the great opportunity to meet Sandra Kviat, Denmark’s first female rabbi at Studenterhuset, Købmagergade 52 next Tuesday.

October 12, 2010

In what promises to be an interesting evening, Kviat will give a talk on how she constantly negotiates her many identities and what Judaism means to her as a young woman.

The 30-year-old studied to become a rabbi in London at the Leo Baeck College, which is owned by the Movement of Reformed Judaism and Liberal Judaism.

The talk begins at 18:00 on Tuesday, 19 October.
