Health & Safety Health & Safety

Copenhagen and Denmark often top international surveys determining quality of life, personal safety, and even the happiness of its citizens. For instance, Denmark is not only the second happiest country in the world (Legatum Prosperity Index, 2012) behind Norway, but it is ranks eighth in the world of the safest countries. However Copenhagen is a city, and your students will also be traveling in Europe and their health and safety is our primary concern.

Pre-departure, DIS sends all students a handbook with important information for them to review, and DIS holds manditory health and safety sessions during Arrivals Week upon arrival. We also have helpful resources on our website such as our contingency plan, insurance information, medicataion information, safety tips, and more. Please visit our Health and Safety pages for more information

I absolutely loved everything about my experience with DIS. The courses were challenging and stimulating and I feel as though I have grown incredibly in my time here. All in all, I have had an incredible, extremely positive experience!
