For me, the combination of highly applicable classes, city life and the independence of living on my own allowed me to see where I fit in the world. The classes, with their practical applications, field studies and highly informed professors were easily one of DIS' best aspects. I was able to think a lot about the kind of future I want and where I want to end up.

Angela Hasler, Carleton College Fall 2009, Biotechnology Program

My DIS experience was filled with many great memories! I got to meet my entire extended host family and share many holidays and fun times with them. Also, the study tours and the adventure trips were amazing, especially to Russia and the Czech Republic!

Meghan Gajare, Carleton College Fall 2009, International Business Program

I couldn't have asked for a better experience at DIS. The program is well organized with a variety of options for living and activities that meets your level of involvement with Danes. DIS takes this little, unknown country and creates a home for students for as long as their willing to stay.
